WHAT ARE
YOU DOING IN THE VALLEY?
Ezekiel 37
1.
The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit
of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of
bones,
2.
And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were
very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3. And he said unto me, Son of man, can
these bones live? and I answered, O Lord God, thou
knowest.
4.
Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them,
O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
Isaiah 24
15. Wherefore glorify ye
the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles
of the sea.
What do you do when you are going through?
How do you react when it seems like all HELL is busting loose
around you/
These questions and more need to be explored so that we can see how
God has equipped us to deal with all the attacks that we encounter.
First, We must look at where we are.
God has placed us where we are to fulfill a purpose in our lives.
The things that are going on around us are happening to strengthen
us.
What do we do?
All too often we tend to wait.
Wait and see what God is going to do.
This in and of itself may be good but is this what God has told you to do?
Lets look at Ezekiel for a moment.
1. The hand of the Lord was upon me, and
carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of
the valley which was full of bones,
Notice that it was the hand of the Lord that carried Ezekiel.
Where ever you are right now and what ever
you are facing realize that it was the hand of the Lord that placed you
there.
Where has the Lord places Ezekiel? in the midst of the valley which was full
of bones.
Right in the middle of some stuff that looked
dead----hopeless---impossible to deal with.
I s this where you are?
What are you going to do about it Are you going to wait for your
miracle, Or are you going to make one happen?
Look at Ezekiel
3. And he said unto me, Son of man, can
these bones live? and I answered, O Lord God, thou
knowest.
God is asking Ezekiel if there is any good in these bones? God is asking Ezekiel can anything good come out
of this valley? God is asking Ezekiel is this a
hopeless situation?
How are you looking at what you are going through right now? What
questions are God asking you right now? What are
you going to do in your valley?
What has God told you to do?
What did God tell Ezekiel to do?
4. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon
these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
You see, instead of being dead Christians, waiting for God to do it
all for us, God is calling us to Speak life into a dead looking situation.
What do I say? I’m glad you
asked….
First you speak the word of God into the situation. Bring God’s
word into the situation and stand on God’s word. Tell that situation, what ever it is that the word of God has promised to
deliver me out of the situation. Stand on the truth and don’t give in to
the attacks of the enemy.
You may be saying that your situation is different. You may be facing even deeper trials and
tribulations if you stand.. you
may be saying that it would be easier to submit and give into the
situation, the temptation. You may be saying you would be better off just
doing what others are telling you to do even when you know it does not line
up with God’s plan for your life
YOU MIGHT EVEN DECIDE TO RUN….. ESCAPE AND HIDE OUT IN THE DESERT
UNTIL THE STORM DIES DOWN.
Well God has given me a four letter word for you.
S.T.A.Y.
That’s right, STAY…
When the situation looks hopeless…..STAY
When your bills out way your blessings…. STAY
When church attendance is up…. STAY
When Church attendance is down…. STAY
When they are talking good about you…. STAY
When they are talking bad about you…. STAY
When you have all the friends in the world… STAY
When you are all alone…. STAY
What ever you are going through, God has not
called you to be a quiter but to STAY and know
that He is God all by Himself….
Now, once you have spoken to the situation (the visible) you need
to go one stem further….
Speak to the invisible……
Look at Ezekiel
- Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the
wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O
breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
That’s right… There is going to come a
time when you are going to have to call those things that are not as though
they are…God told Ezekiel to speak to the wind. Tell the wind to breathe
life into your situation… Tell the devil he has to go because God has made
you the head and not the tail… God has called you to be above and not
beneath..
God as said that you can do all things through Christ who giveth you the strength…. God has said the he will be with you
always even to the ends of the earth…
Tell the invisible that it’s time for
them to be manifested in your situation..
Yes
MAKE YOUR MIRICALE HAPPEN…. SPEAK IT
INTO EXISTANCE….
You have the power to speak life even
while going through the fire…
For
the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder
of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.
Speak the word of God to those dead
bones and let God bring light into that dark place that you are in.
Stop waiting for things to happen and
make things happen. If Moses would have stopped at the banks of the Red Sea
and waited for something to happen the outcome would have been very much
different, But Moses kept right on walking into the red sea and as he did
the power of God showed up and well, the rest is HIS-STORY.
